Reasons for review
We are able to offer a comprehensive review of a client's existing investment manager or managers. This may be required as a matter of best practice on a periodic basis, or due to a breakdown in trust between the client and the manager or as a consequence of poor performance.
Portfolio performance
We will review the past performance of the investment portfolio over an agreed period. We will provide a report giving a comparison of the portfolio performance against the agreed benchmarks and selected investment market indices in all relevant asset classes for each year over that period.
We will look at the asset allocation changes over the period, the consistency of performance, the strategy and the benchmarks. We will consider the diversity of the assets in the round and how each individual asset class fits into the overall requirements.
Manager assessment
The report will also include a review of how your investment manager has performed compared to a peer group of other investment managers. We will interview the investment manager as required and can also provide a research report on the company.
